The decision specifies the eight requirements that attendance should not exceed 30% of the capacity of the stadium, and only those who have a star from the clinical trials of the Corona vaccine are allowed to attend the match, as well as for those who have shown the status of “E” from those who have received the vaccine through the application of the fort, in addition to presenting the result of an examination ( Negative PCR for a period not exceeding 48 hours, adherence to physical distancing, wearing masks all the time and not allowing seats to leave unless necessary, and preventing entry of those under 16 years of age to the stadium.
The former coordinator of fans affairs in the Football Association, Sami Al-Hamour, confirmed that “the return of the crowd brought joy and happiness to all the Emirati fans, as they were waiting for such a step impatiently, after a very long absence from the stands due to the (Corona) pandemic.”
He added, "We thank Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, President of the Football Association, and Secretary General of the Football Association, Muhammad Hazam Al Dhaheri, for this decision, and we hope that it will be a good omen for the audience to return to attend the team's upcoming matches in the World Cup qualifiers, which will be held in the UAE next June." .
He indicated that they had expected such a decision to be issued since the start of the new season at least, but its release today represents a pleasant surprise and Eid for the fans as Eid al-Fitr approaches.
In turn, the head of the Baniyas Fans Council, Hariz Al-Minhali, confirmed that as fans, they received the decision with great joy and indescribable happiness, indicating that the presence in the stands represents the pulse of the crowd, and there is no fun for matches without a public presence, and it is very important for the fans to follow the instructions and precautionary measures.
