One day after separating from Julian Nagelsmann, RB Leipzig has apparently found a successor for the coach who has switched to FC Bayern.

According to "Kicker", the team will be looked after by Jesse Marsch in the coming season.

The parties agree that only modalities have to be clarified.

The American grew up in the Red Bull empire.

He trained the US branch in New York, was already assistant coach in Leipzig under Ralf Rangnick and most recently trained the group team in Salzburg.

Marsch is also said to have piqued the interest of Eintracht Frankfurt and Tottenham Hotspur, who are both looking for a coach, but will now remain in the Red Bull cosmos.

Many players had made the way from Salzburg to Leipzig before him, but not all that Leipzig would have liked.

The most prominent example is striker Erling Haaland, who did not move from Austria to Saxony, but to Borussia Dortmund.
