At the qualifying stage of the upcoming tournament, the following teams will compete for tickets to the main stage of the competition in one-match confrontations:
Oman - Somalia;
Lebanon - Djibouti;
Jordan - South Sudan;
Bahrain - Kuwait;
Mauritania - Yemen;
Palestine - Comoros;
Libya - Sudan.
As a result of the draw for the group stage of the final stage of the FIFA Arab Cup, four quartets were formed:
- Group A: Qatar, Iraq, Oman / Somalia, Bahrain / Kuwait;
- Group B: Tunisia, UAE, Syria, Mauritania / Yemen;
- Group C: Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Jordan / South Sudan, Palestine / Comoros;
- Group D: Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon / Djibouti, Libya / Sudan.
Group winners and runners-up teams will advance to the playoffs.
The FIFA Arab Cup will be held from 1 to 18 December 2021.
