Ayano Kishi, who won the silver medal at the trampoline world championship, has announced that she will retire.

Kishi is 28 years old from Ishikawa prefecture.



He participated in the 2012 London Olympics and was ranked 14th among individual women.



Although he did not participate in the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, he won the silver medal, the first Japanese athlete to win a medal at the 2017 World Championships.



In addition, he won the gold medal in a pair with Hiromi Takagi in the synchronized world championship.



Kishi said, "I feel fulfilled that I have tried everything I can as a trampoliner, and I decided to retire. I am proud of my irreplaceable experience, such as participating in the London Olympics, and sincerely to everyone who supported me. I am grateful, "he commented through the Japan Gymnastics Association.



Kishi will be instructing the younger generation at the club he belongs to.
