2023. This is how long the contract for the historical coach Sonia Bompastor extends.
The former national team star will be the first woman to ever coach Lyon's women's team.
Bompastor ended his career in Lyon, 2013. And has since been involved in the club by, among other things, coaching the women's youth team.
Since 2007, Lyon have won the domestic league every season, and since 2016, they have achieved the same feat in the Champions League.
But, this year they are behind the table Paris Saint Germain who also knocked them out in the Champions League.
Now it is clear that Jean-Luc Vasseur will not be allowed to remain as coach of the big club.
The contract is terminated with immediate effect and he will be replaced by Bompastor.
