As it is now, Norway has three World Cup competitions in one season.

It is about the classic in Holmenkollen, as well as Lillehammar and Drammen.

The former has been arranged since 1892 and should not be moved, says the Norwegian long distance star, Therese Johaug.

- It is not relevant, Johaug says to VG.

"No one should disappear"

According to the newspaper, length managers and coaches had meetings in April to discuss, among other things, the World Cup calendar.

The last meeting took place as late as today (Tuesday).

Several nations are facing some World Cup holidays because they simply can not afford to participate.

- We love our sport and we want international competition.

I think we can agree, but we have to see if Holmenkollen, Dramme and Lillehammer might take turns.

No one should disappear, but maybe we can get there every two or three years.

"Can not remove Holmenkollen"

Therese Johaug agrees that you should think about travel, but that the classic competitions are also important for the sport.

- You have to look at the travel load, but we can not remove Holmenkollen which has its fantastic audience. In Lillehammer it is not close to as many spectators as in "Kollen". If you want to continue to preserve your interest in skiing, the competitions must be in places where the audience stands up and creates life and atmosphere.
