General coach Zamalek denies his departure

Osama Nabih, the general coach of the Egyptian team, Zamalek, confirmed that he continues in his current position and did not leave the team, as was reported in the last hours.

Nabih said in statements to the club's official website yesterday that he does not care about any other matters taking place outside the stadium, stressing that his focus at the present time is on keeping the team at the top of the league.

He added, "I continue in my position normally."

The last hours had witnessed several news of Nabih's resignation from his post, as some sources attributed the reason to the tense relationship between him and French coach Patrice Carteron, the team's coach.

Zamalek tops the Egyptian league standings with 36 points, after playing 16 games.
