The outbreak of COVID-19 outbreak is spreading in the national wrestling team that left Korea to participate in the tournament in Kazakhstan.
The Korean Wrestling Association said that out of the 23 athletes staying in Bulgaria last night (26th) in Korea time, 10 including the coach and athletes were diagnosed with Corona 19 and were taken into quarantine.
Earlier in the wrestling team, a player in Bulgaria was confirmed as confirmed on the 20th, and athletes, coaches, and dispatch supervisors received additional positive tests in the Corona 19 test.
An official from the Wrestling Association said, "Three players who returned to Korea early also were confirmed for Corona 19." .
As a result, the number of corona 19 confirmed cases in the wrestling national team increased to 24, and fortunately, one of the first confirmed players in Bulgaria received a negative decision and was removed from quarantine.
The wrestling team left for Kazakhstan in March to secure Olympic qualifications and participate in the Asian Championships. Some returned to Korea in the middle of this month, but the rest of the players are moving to Bulgaria to participate in the World Quarter Competition starting on the 6th of next month .
