Saint Germain coach: Mbappe will join Manchester City despite the injury

Kylian Mbappe, the star of Paris Saint-Germain, is preparing to lead his team during the upcoming confrontation against Manchester City, the day after tomorrow, in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals despite injury.

Mbappe scored two goals to lead Saint-Germain to victory at Metz Stadium 1/3 on Saturday evening, and climb to the top of the French League, but he suffered a bruise during the match.

"It is a shock to the team," Mauricio Pochettino, coach of St Germain, told "Canal Plus": "I do not think it is a major injury, and we hope it is not dangerous."

He added, "I do not think that he faces the possibility of missing out on Wednesday's match. It is just a shock, but it does not give us the impression that he will miss City's confrontation."

The Argentine coach concluded by saying: "Kilian was calm at the moment of his change, but despite that, the injury was painful."
