On Thursday, David Rumbutis went to the all-around final with a total of 78,565 points at the European Championships in Switzerland.

When the final was decided, the 21-year-old rose several notches and finished in a nice 13th place in the final - with a total of 79,457 points.

- In terms of placement, he made a super nice all-around final.

He was basically flawless in six disciplines and raised his score in four of six disciplines.

We have not had a Swede in the all-around final on the men's side since 2005, says SVT's expert Veronica Wagner and continues.

- At senior level, it is his best performance so far.

Which is an incredibly nice result for the Olympics.

There we have not had any Olympic participants on the men's side in 29 years.

European Championship gold went to the Russian Nikita Nagorny, silver went to compatriot David Belyavskiy and the bronze went to Illia Kovtun from Ukraine.
