Russian athletes recorded one gold, three silver and one bronze medals in freestyle wrestling competitions.
The winner of the gold award was Stalvira Orshush, who won in the category up to 55 kg.
Silver in the assets of Veronica Chumikova (up to 59 kg), Khanum Valieva (up to 68 kg) and Natalia Vorobyova (up to 76 kg).
Bronze was won by Ekaterina Poleshchuk (up to 50 kg).
Thus, the Russian national team has won 7 gold, 5 silver and one bronze medals of the continental championship.
The European Championship will run until April 25.
Earlier it was reported that the Russians won six gold medals at the European Championship in freestyle wrestling.
