The draw for the Asian Handball Championship next May ... Sharjah awaits

The Asian Handball Federation has set, on May 1, the date for the twenty-third Asian Handball Club Champions League draw, which will be held from 12 to 21 June of this year at the hospitality of the Saudi Al-Wehda Club in Jeddah, which qualifies for the World Championship For clubs next year.

The AFC handball statement said: "The draw will take place at Al Jawhara Gym in King Abdullah Sports City, during which the 12 participating clubs will be distributed into 4 groups, with the first and second qualifying for each of them to the quarter-finals."

The Sharjah Club team represents Emirati handball in the Asian championship, and the men of the "King" aspire to break the third-place knot that accompanied it in its last two appearances.
