Hylte / Halmstad has the chance to become champion on both the women's and men's side.
The ladies showed class in the final series against Engelholm - who had five straight Swedish Championship golds - and secured the gold at home in Halmstad arena on Wednesday.
After a 3-1 victory in sets in the first final match, Hylte / Halmstad was also sharpest in the second.
The team won the first set and put pressure on Engelholm.
But the Scanian shoes came back.
The blue-clad equalized the match after a thrilling second set, 27-25, and after Hylte / Halmstad took home the third set after a new drama - 28-26 - Engelholm forced a fifth and decisive round after showing class in the fourth, 25- 15.
In fifth, Hylte was the strongest and took the Swedish Championship gold.
The final series is decided in the best of three matches and Hylte / Halmstad's men lead 1-0 in matches against Falkenberg.
The second match will be played in Halmstad tomorrow.
