The competitions were attended by Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bani Yas Club, Dr. Hoda Al Matroushi, Secretary General of the Emirates Fencing Federation, Mohammed Ghanem Al Mansouri, Board Member, Suhail Saeed Al Ameri, Chairman of Bani Yas Sports Company, Muhammad Salmin, representative of the Public Authority for Sports, and Abdul Rahman Al Meligy Member of the Individual Games Department at Sharjah Club, Hamda Al Qubaisi and Awad Al Mansoori, members of the Games Company at Bani Yas Club.

54 players participated in the first day competition, representing Bani Yas clubs, the host of the tournament, Sharjah, Fujairah, MKFA Academy in Dubai and Al Ain Center for Fencing.
