Joost Luiten made an impression on Thursday in his first round of the Gran Canaria Open.
The 35-year-old golfer hit a hole-in-one and is currently in the lead.
Luiten only needed one stroke for the 128-meter fifteenth hole of the Meloneras golf course.
It was his fifth hole-in-one on the European Tour and his first since 2017.
De Bleiswijker needed a total of only 63 strokes (7 under par) for his first round of Gran Canaria.
In addition to the eagle on the fifteenth hole, he also noted seven birdies and two bogeys on his score card.
For the time being, Luiten shares the lead with the Dane Joachim Hansen.
Wil Besseling also had an excellent start on the Spanish island and is second after a round of 64 strokes (-6).
Darius van Driel and Lars van Meijel went around in 66 strokes (-4) and after a quarter of the tournament they also competed in the top twenty of the rankings.
Quite a few golfers have yet to finish or start their first round.
Always nice to see a ONE on the scorecard @joostluiten 🎯 #GranCanariaLopesanOpen
