Al-Wehda revived his hopes in the AFC Champions League, and yesterday he managed to win a deserved victory at the expense of Al Rayyan 3/2 in the match that took place between them in the third round of Group E of the AFC Champions League.

The Qatari team scored two goals, first by Shuja Khalil (13) and Abdulaziz Hatem (55), and Al-Wahda returned to Primontada, through Mane Ayed (66), Khalil Ibrahim (85) and Faris Jumaa (90 + 5).

Al-Wehda raised its score to four points to climb to second place, while Al Rayyan's balance stuck at one point in last place.

The Al-Annabi defense made a fatal mistake when its players failed to clear Nayef Al-Khadrami's cross, which he played from a steady blow to Shuja Khalil, to shoot comfortably to the left of the goalkeeper.

Al-Wahda coach Tin Cat sought to strengthen the offensive side at the start of the second half, so he involved Matavz at the expense of Mansour Al-Harbi, but the preference remained in favor of Al-Rayyan, who was able to add a second goal through Hatem, after a pass by Johan Polly in the absence of Al-Annabi defense, to shoot from close range On the goal to the left of Muhammad Al Shamsi.

Then the unit pressed with all its lines in search of reducing the difference, and his efforts culminated in the first goal of a good follow-up to Mane Ayed, who shot a rebound from the defense to the left of the goalkeeper.

And Khalil Ibrahim was able, through a distinguished individual effort, to score a tie.

Then Faris Jumaa returned alone from afar and scored the victory with a header at a deadly time in the match.
