The Japan Wrestling Federation announced this month that two new athletes from the Asian Championships in Kazakhstan tested positive for the new coronavirus.

As a result, a total of seven athletes and staff returning from Kazakhstan have been confirmed to be infected.

Wrestling will be held in Kazakhstan from the 9th to the 11th of this month in the Asian qualifying for the Tokyo Olympics, and from the 13th to the 18th in the Asian Championship. It has been revealed that it has been infected.



According to the Japan Wrestling Federation, two men who participated in the Asian Championship were tested for the new coronavirus on the 19th and found new positives.



The two were tested at Haneda Airport on the 16th of this month when they returned to Japan, but they were negative at that time.



As a result, a total of seven athletes and staff returning from Kazakhstan have been confirmed to be infected.
