There was no Swedish Championship gold for Stalder and her team - it took Luleå after three straight victories - but Brynässtjärnan was individually praised.

Stalder, 26, had a record season and a phenomenal 82 points (31 goals and 51 assists) in 36 games in the regular season was a new points record.

In tonight's gala, Stalder was praised as this year's forward, delivery of the season (the award for best forward) and MVP, most valuable player.

This is the second year in a row that Stalder wins the points league in the SDHL, but last year Luleå's Finnish forward star Petra Nieminen received the award as the league's best.

The foreign dominance is still great.

At last year's gala, the first, all but one player award went to foreign players.

Same thing this year.

HV's national team forward Michelle Löwenhielm was praised as player of the year in Swedish women's hockey, an all-Swedish award.

Luleå's gold coach Mikael Forsberg became coach of the year and Maria Furberg is awarded the Gold Pipe as the best judge.
