PSG, winner in the quarter-finals to go to Bayern Munich (3-2), can qualify for the semi-finals of the Champions League.

At the Parc des Princes, the Parisians will have to achieve a new feat to dismiss the defending champion.

The meeting is to be followed live from 9 p.m.

LIVE

PSG is facing its fate.

The Parisians, winners of their quarter-final first leg on the lawn of Bayern Munich (3-2), are on the verge of a gigantic feat.

At the Parc des Princes, Mbappé, Neymar and their teammates will have to achieve a great performance on Tuesday night in the return match, as six days ago at the Allianz Arena, to qualify for the semi-finals.

But the Bavarian title holder, largely domineering in the first leg despite the defeat, arrives with a spirit of revenge and the will not to let go of his crown.

So can PSG do it?

Response around 11 p.m., or more in the event of an extension!

PSG - Bayern: 0 - 0

The point at the kick-off: it's gone between PSG and Bayern, who both play in their traditional colors!

Update on the compositions: no surprise, Danilo in central defense.

As expected, PSG will evolve in 4-2-3-1 with a central defense Kimpembe-Danilo.

Dagba is back in the right back, while Paredes is in midfield with Gueye.

Draxler is also aligned, as in Munich.

On the Bayern side, Choupo-Moting will once again be No. 9, while Boateng and Hernandez will form the hinge.

Alaba goes back to the middle alongside Kimmich, while the Blues Coman and Pavard are also holders.

The teams :

Paris SG:

Navas - Dagba, Danilo, Kimpembe (cap), Ab. Diallo - Gueye, Paredes - Di Maria, Neymar, Draxler - Mbappé

Coach: Mauricio Pochettino (ARG)

Bayern:

Neuer (cap) - Pavard, Boateng, Hernandez, Davies - Kimmich, Alaba - Sane, Müller, Coman - Choupo-Moting

Coach: Hansi Flick (ALL)

The Parc des Princes point: a magnificent tifo created by the Parisian ultras.

This return quarter-final will take place in a Parc des Princes behind closed doors.

But the Parisian ultras made a magnificent tifo, which covers three quarters of the stadium, with a huge "go to Paris".

What push Mbappé, Neymar and co to a new feat?

Now that it's REALLY formalized by the @PSG_inside (sorry for the fragile supps), here is the tifo made by the @Co_Ultras_Paris.

Huge job.

From Auteuil to Boulogne, the #PSG in unison.

Make way for the match!

The infirmary point: absent on both sides.

For this return match, the two teams will have to do without major players.

Parisian captain Marquinhos, injured on the way out, will be absent.

Florenzi and Verratti, on the other hand, will be back in the group, after having tested negative for Covid.

On the Bayern side, central defender Süle did not recover from his injury in the first leg.

Midfielder Goretzka, also affected six days ago, will start on the bench.

The two star strikers Lewandowski and Gnabry are still forfeited, as on the go.

The stats point: 95% chance for Paris, but…

The statistics are clear: 95% of the teams who won the first leg 3 to 2 away qualified for the next round, as

L'Equipe

reminds us

in its edition of the day.

The case has occurred 103 times since the 1970-1971 season in the European Cups.

But if a team is capable of making the statistics lie, it is Bayern.

The maths point: even a defeat can qualify PSG.

The Parisians will qualify for the semi-finals in the event of a draw and victory.

But even a 1-0 or 2-1 defeat would be enough for PSG, thanks to the away goal rule.

Any defeat by two or more goals would, on the other hand, be synonymous with elimination.

The winner will meet either Borussia Dortmund or Manchester City, who face each other tomorrow night (2-1 in the first leg for City).

Update on the first leg: a victory and a miracle.

We're not going to lie: the Parisian victory at the Allianz Arena was a real miracle.

With only 6 shots against 31 for Bayern, PSG were impressively realistic days ago, with a double from Mbappé and a goal from Marquinhos.

To pass, the Parisians will have to resist the fury of Bayern and its hellish pace, while showing relentlessness in front of Neuer's goals.
