A source in the Al-Ahly youth club confirmed that the first football team of "Dubai Knights" will travel to Riyadh by private plane, to compete in the group stage matches in the AFC Champions League, as the team begins its journey against the independence of Dushanbe, Tajikistan, next Thursday.

He told «Emirates Today» that if the travel procedures are completed, the Al-Ahly youth mission will head to Riyadh today or tomorrow at the latest, indicating the readiness of all players and the high morale of the team, following the victory over the victory and the crowning of the “Dubai Knights” with the Arabian Gulf Cup title. .

He explained that there are no changes in the team list that was announced, after the Argentine Federico Cartabia recovered from the injury he suffered in the last period, and that he was reassured of his readiness by participating in the Arab Gulf Cup final, indicating that the list of players includes 30 players, they are: Majed Nasser, Hassan Hamza, Jamal Ismail, Hamdan Al Kamali, Salmeen Khamis, Muhammad Marzouq, Youssef Jaber, Walid Abbas, Muhammad Jaber, Abdulaziz Heikal, Saud Abdul Razzaq, Saeed Ahmed, Abdulaziz Sanqour, Yahya Al-Ghassani, Ahmed Jamil, Abdullah Abdulrahman, Rashid Suhail Abdullah Al-Naqbi, Marwan Fahd, Hareb Abdullah, Warb Suhail, Eid Khamis, Majid Hassan, Omar Abdel Rahman, Ahmed Khalil, Ahmed Al-Attas, and Muhammad Jumaa, in addition to the four foreigners: Carlos Eduardo, Federico Kartabia, Igor Jesus, and Jalaluddin Masharibov.

It is noteworthy that Shabab Al-Ahly plays in the first group, which includes Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia, Esteghlal Dushanbe of Tajik and Ajmak of Uzbekistan, who completed the group's teams after defeating Qatar's Al-Gharafa in the preliminary round.
