Zamalek is close to renewing Ferjani Sassi's contract

Media reports in Egypt revealed the imminent success of Zamalek Club in extending the contract of its Tunisian player Ferjani Sassi, which ends the current season.

The media, Saif Zahir, said that Zamalek club has become closer than ever to extending Ferjani Sassi's contract, as the club is expected to receive a lot of money in the next few days without revealing its value.

Zaher added, on the "On Sport" channel, that Zamalek is waiting for a lot of money from projects that it will implement in partnership with giant companies, and this will contribute to ending the financial crisis that Zamalek suffered and delayed the renewal of the contract of the Tunisian star, as well as the dues of a large number of players.

At the time, Ibrahim Abdullah, a member of the resigned Executive Committee, confirmed that Ferjani Sassi's business agent requested 55 million pounds per season in order to renew the contract, stressing that the club was unable to extend the player's contract in light of the great financial demands of the agent Sassi, this is what caused the negotiations to freeze up in the last period.
