Every day, Anicet Mbida makes us discover an innovation that could well change the way we consume.

This Friday, he is interested in an invention of the Canadian start up Tru Earth, laundry in strips of paper.

The innovation of the day is concerned with detergents.

We know those which are liquid, powder or pods.

Now there is also a detergent in the form of paper strips.

It is quite surprising.

It looks a bit like Armenian paper in size.

You have to imagine a block of pre-cut sheets.

We tear a tab about ten centimeters long by three wide.

We put it in the drum.

We add the laundry and let's go!

The strip will be completely dissolved in the wash.

It is therefore used like traditional laundry.

But it is much more ecological.

It takes up very little space (the bulk of a paperback).

Above all, the packaging is made from recycled paper.

Where current detergent cans and boxes are made of plastic.

A plastic rarely recycled, which ends up, at best, in the incinerator, at worst in the ocean.

And the composition of the detergent?

Is it ecological?

This is what they ensure: parabens, phosphates, hypoallergenic, certified vegan, etc.

Obviously, like all its competitors, it washes "whiter than white".

It was Tru Earth, a Canadian startup that launched this laundry.

It is really typical of the current trend: we are trying to create detergents that respect nature, both in their container and in their content.

There is, for example, a manufacturer of shower gel whose packaging is made of soap.

When it is empty, we rub with the bottle!

It is a product of Soapbottle, a German startup.

What are we waiting for now?

Find out what the biggest plastic polluters are going to do: the beverage vendors.

It should be remembered that the government has set a target of 100% recycled plastics by 2025. It is in four years.

So there are going to be big changes in our packaging.
