Flyweight

In light weight categories, changes did not affect only the division up to 56.7 kilograms.

Among the representatives of the top five, only Ali Bagautinov managed to hold the next fight, but the victory over Dustin Ortiz was not enough for him to bypass Azamat Kerefov.

Still, 14 won battles in a row and the ACA champion title are more than good reasons to count on at least the third line in the ranking.

UFC fighters Tagir Ulanbekov and Askar Askarov are still located higher, and Murad Magomedov closed the top 5 with zero in the “defeat” column.

    Bantamweight

At the same time, in the category above, two permutations occurred at once, however, this is not about the first line.

Although Peter Yan lost the UFC champion title following the results of the battle with Aljamein Sterling, he did not miss the leadership in his division.

The reason lies in a solid track record, and in exactly how the duel with the American unfolded.

Of course, the colossal advantage during the fight does not justify the forbidden knee blow, but it also does not allow him to be displaced from the first position.

However, if earlier the gap between the leader and the persecutors was colossal, now it has noticeably narrowed.

It's not only Peter's defeat, but also the impressive performance of his former rival for the ACB belt.

Magomed Magomedov won the second fight in Bellator and pushed Said Nurmagomedov to third place.

At the same time, the newly-made ACA champion Magomed Bibulatov, who interrupted Daniel de Almeida's unbeaten run of 11 fights, breathes in his back.

As a result of these perturbations, Umar Nurmagomedov was at the bottom of the top.

And apparently, in the near future he will not be able to improve his position.

A few days ago, he underwent surgery and will be forced to undergo a recovery procedure.

      Feather-weight

In this division, there were no new names, but the status of some fighters still underwent changes.

Triumph at ACA 120 allowed Magomedrasul Khasbulaev to win the promotion title on his third attempt, and also to bypass Movsar Yevloyev in the ranking.

Salman Zhamaldaev could have taken a step forward, but the victory by disqualification over Diego Brandao was not enough to surpass Movlid Khaibulev.

Zabit Magomedsharipov remained at the head of the five, but very soon a long downtime may affect his position.

        A light weight

In the category up to 70 kilograms, the changes are mainly related to the exclusion of Khabib Nurmagomedov.

If you believe the words of UFC President Dana White, the story with the possible return of the Russian is at an end, as a result of which his presence in the top has lost its meaning.

What is logical, the successor to the undefeated Eagle was teammate Islam Makhachev, who easily dealt with the strong Drew Dober in early March.

Behind him was the ACA champion Abdul-Aziz Abdulvahabov, and another representative of the promotion, Rashid Magomedov, took off to third place.

Since November, he won two battles in a row and, due to his activity, bypassed Magomed Mustafayev and Mairbek Taysumov.

The first has not fought since February 2020, and the second since September 2019.

          Welterweight

There was one change in the division up to 77 kilograms, and the reason was also the long absence of performances.

Albert Tumenov has never entered a cage since November 2019, and at the moment there is no clarity about either his future rival or his place of work.

The fighter himself wants to return to the UFC, but the American promotion has not yet expressed an interest in the Russian.

An inactive athlete cannot be among the strongest for a long time, so he was ousted by the current ACA champion Abubakar Vagaev.

            Average weight

The minimum of position changes and new names in the division is up to 83.9 kilograms.

The top four also remained unchanged, and Khalid Murtazaliev burst into the top.

The fighter returned to the cage after a 30-month hiatus and made a successful debut at Bellator, extending his unbeaten streak to four fights.

At the same time, in the ranking, he bypassed Aliaskhab Khizriev, who is just about to make his debut in a major American promotion.

On April 10, he will fight Kyle Daukas in the UFC.

              Light heavyweight

In this category, the situation is similar.

The three first places are confidently held by Vadim Nemkov, Magomed Ankalaev and Shamil Gamzatov, and even though Maxim Grishin won only one of the last three fights, he fought on equal terms with opponents from the largest MMA promotion on the planet and won the right to meet with the former contender for the title Ovins Sen -Pru.

Viktor Nemkov, who has not fought since October 2019, cannot boast of such a thing.

As a result, the fifth line went to the undefeated ACA fighter Muslim Magomedov.

At the 120th tournament, he defeated Leonardo Silva and won the ninth fight in a row.

                Heavy weight

In March, the strongest Russian heavyweights did not fight, so there was no reason to update the rating. The victory over Alistair Overeem not only elevated Alexander Volkov to the status of one of the contenders for the UFC title, but also allowed him to solidly break away from domestic competitors in the fight for the first line of the rating. The chance to close the gap will be presented already in May, when Ali Isaev and Shamil Abdurakhimov will play the next matches. At the same time, the positions of Alexey Oleinik and Sergey Pavlovich are becoming more and more precarious every day. The first has lost four of the last six fights, and the second has not fought since October 2019. Salimgerey Rasulov could well bypass him, but the impression of four won battles in a row was slightly spoiled by the not the highest level of opponents.
