The death of a Real Madrid legend

Real Madrid mourned, through its Twitter account, its former star, Antonio Calpe, who passed away today, Wednesday, at the age of 81.

Calpe played for the royal team for six seasons between 1965 and 1971, during which he played 121 matches and won the League Championship on 3 occasions, the European Cup and the Spanish Cup once.

Levante also mourned the late Spanish club Calpe, who played in its ranks between 1962 and 1965, and contributed to the team's rise during its golden generation, to the Spanish First Division in 1963.

After Calpe retired, he held several positions at Levante Club, such as club manager, assistant coach and member of the technical department.
