They could be focused on their rise in the elite but the Covid-19 disrupts the concentration of the TFC players, current Ligue 2 dolphins. Monday, two days away from a trip to Saumur (Nationale 3) to play a Round of 16 of the Coupe de France, the club announced the detection of three cases of coronavirus in the team.
“Strict monitoring and isolation measures have been applied to allow the professional group to prepare and train normally, scrupulously respecting the instructions recommended by government bodies, health authorities, the regional health agency and the Professional football league, ”the club said in a statement.
Risk of forfeit if the virus spreads
For the time being, the trip to Saumur is not in question.
But the protocol set up by the French Football Federation (FFF) provides that "if a team is unable to participate in the match due to the isolation of all or part of its workforce or for lack of tests, it will be eliminated by forfeit ”.
Further tests must therefore be carried out on Tuesday to ensure that there are no other cases.
In the championship, the TFC is expected on the lawn of Guingamp on Monday, April 12.
