23-year-old Selbekk, who is a Norwegian national team player, left Kareby for Västerås in 2016.

So far, there have been four Swedish Championship finals and two golds with Västerås.

- It feels very good, inspiring and best for me in my development.

I stay partly because of the team and the cohesion we have, then we have something good going on, says Selbekk on the club's website.

The contract is written for three years.

- I study in the city and thrive very well here.

I have two years left in the plug and it feels safe to know where I will play in the future.

Interest from other clubs

This season she scored 41 goals in 20 games and that is something that has aroused interest in her other clubs.

- I have been in VSK for five seasons and come from outside, it is clear that you get questions from other clubs and that you listen to what they have to say.

But I came to the conclusion that Västerås is the best thing for me, says Selbekk.
