Premier League league coach Pep Guardiola believes the game schedule is too tight.

To avoid too tired players, he chooses to rotate a lot and often, for this weekend's victory against Leicester City, he made six changes in the starting eleven compared to the last match.

And he will continue to do so.

- The players can not be expected to play three matches in one week without proper rest.

They are people, not machines.

Some of them are upset because they always want to play, but it is not possible, says Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola.

In the current season, Manchester City competes in four contexts - the Premier League, the Champions League, the FA Cup and the League Cup.

And still do, and have the chance of a title quadruple.

"Not possible"

- If we did not rotate, we would not be where we are now.

Of course, the players could play, they have fantastic mental strength, but they have to rest.

Fifa and Uefa kill the players, because it is too much.

We have not rested in the middle of the week at any time since this season began, not once.

- There is no player who can maintain this, it is impossible.

On Saturday, Manchester City won against Leicester, after which the club gets two days rest until the first quarter-final meeting with Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

Then City will recover for three days before the league match against Leeds, and then three days again before the CL quarter is decided.
