Volleyball V-League 1st Division, V1 was the men's final stage final, and Suntory won the championship for the first time in 14 seasons over Panasonic.

In the final, Suntory, who was ranked 1st in the regular round, and Panasonic, who was ranked 2nd, played against each other.



Suntory took 25 to 21 in the first set, with Russian national team Dmitriy Muserski showing an angled spike that made use of his height of 2 meters and 18 centimeters, and took the second set 25 to 23.



The third set was taken 25 to 20 by Masahiro Yanagida, the Japanese national team who returned from the German team this season, stealing the service ace at key points with a highly accurate serve.



Suntory won the straight with a set count of 3-0 and won the 8th victory for the first time in 14 seasons.
