In April, Sweden will play international matches against the USA and Poland.

When national team captain Peter Gerhardsson presented the squad for the matches earlier this week, Hedvig Lindahl was, as expected, one of the goalkeepers.

But now it is clear that the 37-year-old will not join the squad.

- Atlético Madrid have received a couple of positive cases from covid-19 and their match that was to be played yesterday had to be postponed.

Hedvig herself is not infected but exposed, and therefore we have decided that she can not join our collection which starts tomorrow, says national team doctor Houman Ebrahimi to svenskfotboll.se.

Eskilstuna United's Emma Holmgren replaces.
