A little over two months is the time that Thomas Tuchel will have spent without knowing the slightest defeat with the Blues.
But everything comes to an end and, on Saturday, Chelsea suffered their first setback since the arrival of the German by losing at home (5-2) against the relegation West Bromwich Albion, being reduced to ten for an hour of game, Saturday, on the 30th day of the Premier League.
The London club remained on fourteen games unbeaten in all competitions under the direction of the former PSG coach.
The expulsion of Thiago Silva in the 29th minute, less than two minutes after the opening of the scoring by Christian Pulisic (27th), totally disrupted Chelsea's defense.
After this dirty comb, the Blues (4th, 51 points) miss an opportunity to get closer to the podium and Leicester, third with 56 points, which faces City on Saturday night (6 p.m.).
