- We started attacks slowly, especially in the first half, so the opponents managed to step back and take their positions.

It was difficult to pass them.

This is the only moment that I didn’t like.

The result may be different, but we wanted to see more dynamic football, which we managed to show after the break.

Naturally, this helped the Slovaks.

- How would you rate the interaction of the pairs Alexander Golovin - Alexey Miranchuk in the center of the field and Artyom Dzyuba - Alexander Sobolev in the attacking line?

In previous matches, they rarely appeared on the field together.

- It is not so easy to evaluate, because there is no time to play some ligaments.

Sobolev and Miranchuk came on as substitutes and wanted to show their maximum.

It is clear they tried.

If there was an opportunity to train and play together more often, we could work on certain nuances.

Today, in such a combination, we, in my opinion, acted for the first time.

- During the previous training camp of the national team, the last match with Serbia was the most unfortunate for it.

Today was a completely different meeting with a different level of intensity.

Again, the game could have turned out differently, we had the opportunity to get a point and even win ... But for one reason or another, the Slovak national team was lucky.

You released him on the field right after the break, but in the 65th minute you removed him back.

- We needed to switch to a two-forwards scheme and at the same time keep the diamond in the middle.

Mostovoy did not find a place in it, so he was forced to change it.
