Professional football K League 1 Jeonbuk has announced that they are recruiting Baek Seung-ho.

Baek Seung-ho, a former Barcelona youth team, played in Spain's second division Feralada and Girona for two seasons from the 2017-2018 season, and has played 45 games in the German second division Darmstadt since last season, scoring three goals and six assists.

In addition, he is active in the national team through the Korean men's age-based national team and the Olympic team.

Initially, Baek Seung-ho caused controversy by promoting the joining of Jeonbuk without fulfilling the agreement made with Suwon in the past.

Baek Seung-ho, who studied abroad at the Barcelona youth team with the support of the club while attending the Suwon Youth Team Maetanjung in 2010, wrote an agreement promising to join Suwon upon returning to the K-League.

When Jeonbuk learned the contents of the agreement, the recruitment process was stopped, and Baek Seung-ho and Suwon met to resolve the entangled problem, but could not narrow the disagreement.

In this situation, Jeonbuk decided to bear Baek Seung-ho.

Jeonbuk said, "We decided to sign Seung-ho Baek, who wishes to return to the K-League, so that he can continue his career safely in a situation where the player registration deadline ends tomorrow and it is difficult to join Suwon." It was also confirmed,” he said.

“We had enough time for more than a month, but the players and the club could not reach a smooth agreement until just before the player registration deadline over the issue of returning the tuition fees that were supported at the time of joining the Barcelona youth team. "We considered that if a player's life ceases, it could remain a bad precedent for the K-League."

In addition, Jeonbuk explained, "With a document recently sent by Suwon to Baek Seung-ho, we have finally confirmed the position of Suwon that'we have come to a judgment that it is difficult to recruit Baek Seung-ho,' and then we will re-promote the recruitment of players."

Baek Seung-ho's side previously announced that it would return 300 million won in support and join other clubs, but Suwon demanded compensation of 1.42 billion won, including the legal interest of 120 million won and 1 billion won in damages, in addition to the support fund of 300 million won. I couldn't collect my intentions in the end.

Jeonbuk drew a line about this as "a problem that the stakeholders between Baek Seung-ho and Suwon must solve in the future."

Meanwhile, it is known that Suwon plans to take legal action as announced by Seung-ho Baek's violating the agreement and promoting the transfer to another club.
