Pierre Ménès changes his tone.

Last week, after the revelations on his sexist behavior towards several colleagues in censored passages of the documentary of Marie Portolano "I am not a slut, I am a journalist", the columnist of Canal + had justified his actions by his "side rebel ”, not realizing their seriousness.

"If I can no longer room a girl because she's a girl, it's unbearable", he had launched in particular.

This Monday, Ménès posted a message on his Twitter account in which he apologizes flatly.

"After having spoken with each of these victims and after having read all your messages on social networks, I wanted to tell you that I unambiguously regret all these gestures of the past which were in no way justified", he writes.

"I caused pain and embarrassment to friends without ever intending to do so directly or indirectly," adds the journalist.

Last Thursday,

L'Equipe

announced that Canal + was launching an internal investigation into these acts.

"Know that all the testimonies brought to our attention are the subject of an in-depth analysis and all the proven facts have been the subject of a disciplinary sanction", wrote the chain to its employees in an internal email.
