Nacer Bouhanni has made a new friend.

The French sprinter, used to stormy packaging and the unpacking that goes with it, was disqualified on Sunday for pushing Englishman Jake Stewart against the barriers in the final of the Cholet-Pays de la Loire race.

The latter did not like it at all, and let it be known a few minutes later on Twitter.

“Yo Nacer, I would like to ask you what you were thinking… But clearly, you don't have a brain,” wrote the Groupama-FDJ rider.

Yo @BouhanniNacer I would ask you what you was thinking ... but you clearly have no brain cells.

The ironic thing is, you told me I had 'no respect' after the finish.

Bouhanni, who usually never hesitates to defend himself, did not respond this time.

“The irony in all of this is that you told me after the finish line that I had no respect.

Here is an educational video on what 'no respect' means, ”added a very upset Stewart.

The race was won by Italian rider Elia Viviani, who notched his first victory of the season ahead of Spaniard Jon Aberasturi and Frenchman Pierre Barbier.
