Defeated by the American Stipe Miocic in his first attempt in 2018, Francis Ngannou took a resounding revenge on Saturday, March 27 in Las Vegas.

The overpowered Cameroonian “Predator” beat the heavyweight champion at the start of the second round.

The heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the world's most prestigious mixed martial arts (MMA) league, has a new king.

And it comes straight from Batié, a town in western Cameroon.

The demonstration in the octagon was confirmed by this symbolic moment, when the belt was put around the waist of Francis Ngannou at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, this Saturday, March 27.

The Cameroonian is the new UFC heavyweight world champion.

Stipe Miocic was dethroned without the slightest dispute by the challenger.

In January 2018, the "Predator" had failed in its first attempt against the American.

A stop in his meteoric career in the UFC against an opponent who had managed to thwart his offensive style.

This setback, Francis Ngannou assures to have analyzed it well before challenging Stipe Miocic again three years later.
