Officials at Baniyas Football Company hope that their lead in the Arab Gulf League ranking, as well as their close proximity to the AFC Champions League participation card, will attract the attention of institutions and companies to sponsor them, after the team's jerseys, since the beginning of the season, have been without the names of sponsoring companies, in A time when other club jerseys are crowded with a host of sponsors.

A source in the Bani Yas Football Club told «Emirates Today» that their doors are open to companies ’offers to sponsor them, whether in the current or next season, regardless of whether or not they achieve the Gulf Arab League title.

He added, "We kept asking companies to look at us. Currently, our doors are open. The team is presenting distinguished levels and competing for the league title, and it is definitely an attractive thing for sponsoring companies to stand behind us."

The source pointed out that the value of sponsorship contracts has not changed following the successes achieved by the team in the current season and topping the ranking, and said: “The packages themselves have not changed after the results that have been achieved, and I think it is the appropriate opportunity for institutions and companies to take care of us, after we drew attention in a good way. We hope that we will succeed in achieving the league title this season, and continue to maintain the same level in the coming years.

The source emphasized that the club's management pledged to the importance of the team continuing to achieve good results now and in the future, to keep Al-Samawi in the ranks of the top clubs, after he had proven his capabilities with the results.

He said, "Maintaining the level is important, and the club has imposed itself as a brand through the results it has achieved in the current season, and it is ironic that our club that tops the ranking does not have a sponsoring company, while there are clubs in the league that have sponsorship contracts."

Emirates Today published a report, at the beginning of the season, about the absence of sponsors for Bani Yas, Khor Fakkan, Al Dhafra and Hatta clubs.

Officials in the four companies said that they have tried all means in the context of attracting sponsors, and they said that they had to present offers to certain parties to sponsor them, but they did not find any response, and they agreed that the value of sponsorship for their clubs is not high, and that it is at the same time negotiable.

It is noteworthy that clubs have succeeded in a sponsorship contract with several companies, including the Al-Ahly Youth Club, in its partnership with the Abdul Wahid Al-Rostamani Group, "Nissan Agent", while Al-Jazira Club signed a partnership agreement with the famous global social networking platform TikTok.

Dubai Real Estate Corporation sponsors the Al Wasl Club, while the Fujairah Club has a sponsor who is "Basis for Investment and Development", while Burjeel Hospital sponsors Al Wahda Club, and Bank continues Abu Dhabi first sponsored Al Ain Club.
