In the first minute of the second period, Zibanejad extended the visitors' lead to 2-0 and shortly afterwards he also put 3-0.
It was the second match in a row against Philadelphia that Zibanejad accounted for six points in the minutes.
On March 17, Rangers won 9-0 and even then the Swede excelled.
Tonight's match ended 8-3 and Zibanejad has now scored 15 points in the last five matches.
