The second round of the "Mother of the Nation" Jiu-Jitsu League will kick off tomorrow at Jiu-Jitsu Arena - Zayed Sports City, with the participation of a wide range of female club and academy players within the country.

The participants in the second round competitions of the Mother of the Nation League aspire to achieve several goals simultaneously, which are to provide an advanced level that enables them to continue the journey and compete until the end, in addition to taking advantage of this round to enhance their readiness to compete in the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam championship and the Abu Dhabi Championship. The competitions will be in three categories: female youth under 16 years old, young women under 18 years old, and adults over 18 years old.

The Director of the Technical Department of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation Mubarak Saleh Al-Minhali said in a press statement that the second round of the championship is a continuation of the wonderful artistic scene that dominated the first round competitions.

He added: We have noticed over the past few years that the jiu-jitsu championships for women are no less enthusiastic and competitive than the men's competitions, as the Emirati girl has proven that she is responsible and challenging and has the ability to represent the country in the best way in local and international tournaments.

Al-Minhali explained that the performance of the players on the carpet in the first round highlights the importance of remote training and the camps organized by the federation during the period of stoppage of the tournaments, which contributed to the speedy recovery of their physical fitness and the development of their technical aspects.

The first round witnessed the brilliance of the players of Al Ain, Al Wahda, Al Jazirah, Al Dhafra and Palms Sport Academy "777", as they succeeded in winning the largest number of medals, and these clubs and academies are looking forward to continuing their journey during the next rounds.
