The ski flying world champion of 2018, Daniel Andre Tande, fell badly in Planica, Slovenia and had to be taken to hospital.
On Thursday, the 27-year-old Norwegian got into a leaning position in the trial run right after the jump and hit the front of the huge facility in Planica after 78 meters.
After initial medical treatment, Tande was brought by helicopter to the nearest hospital in Ljubljana.
At first there was no more detailed information about his condition.
