Last year's Champions League final, which Lyon won 3-1, was Pernille Harder's last match for Wolfsburg.

The move went to Chelsea in the autumn - where his girlfriend, Magdalena Eriksson, is team captain.

Tonight, the 28-year-old met his old club for the first time since the club change, when the first of two quarter-finals in the Champions League was decided in Budapest.

Harder goal scorer - without celebrating

Most of the talk before the match was about Harder - but the Dane was almost invisible in the first half.

It took a goalkeeper mistake in others for the Dane to make it happen.

It was in the 66th minute of the match that Wolfsburg's Katarzyna Kiedrzynek hit a failed kick that Francesca Kirby caught outside the penalty area and played on to Sam Kerr.

The ball finally went to a free Harder, who easily put 2-0.

Out of respect for the former teammates, however, the Dane refrained from celebrating the goal.

But despite Chelsea scoring the first two goals of the match, it was Harder's previous team that started best - and created the most throughout the match.

Andersson saved the bike kick on the finish line

Not least Fridolina Rolfö had several great goal chances.

After just over 20 minutes of play, the Swedish national team striker entered the penalty area from the left and got a shot that Ann-Katrin Berger in the goal boxed out.

The return at Rolfö, a new save by Berger and the ball ended up with the Polish Ewa Pajor - who kicked the bike towards the goal.

But left-back Jonna Andersson was correctly placed and could nod away the ball on the goal line.

And early in the second half, Rolfö got a new cannon position.

The Swede stood completely unmarked in the penalty area and met a post from the right edge with his forehead - but the nod went in the post.

Shortly after Harder's 2-0 goal, Rolfö was then replaced and replaced by Rebecka Blomqvist.

Wolfsburg reduced on penalties

From the bench, Rolfö finally got to see how Wolfsburg got a well-deserved goal.

With 20 minutes left of regular time, Magdalena Eriksson misjudged a tackle and felled Svenja Huth in the penalty area - Dominique Janssen reduced to 2-1 on penalties.

The return will be played on March 31, also that match in Budapest.
