Uppsala also had a clear goal when the season started: Reach the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

After the draft away in Åkeshovshallen in Stockholm, that goal had already been achieved - the rest of Wednesday night was uphill for the guests.

For series one Alvik scored the first point of the match - and then never let go of the lead.

During the first period, it differed at most 16 points, much thanks to the home team star Klara Lundquist's twelve points.

In total, there were 21 points, nine assists and four rebounds by Lundquist, the best on the field tonight, and at most Alvik had a lead of 39 points.

When asked why things are going extra well right now, Lundquist answers:

- It has been fun this season, the team and I have played and had fun.

Now there is only one thing that counts and that is to win Swedish Championship gold - that is what we are focusing on now.

To get there, the second match in the quarter-final series awaits first, it will be played in Uppsala at 14.00 on Saturday.

- We will check the video, Lundquist answers what Alvik wants to improve.

- But just to release this match and bring the energy to on Saturday - it is a completely new match.
