Hanna Öberg has performed at a high level for several years, but the breadth Sweden has delivered this year is at a level we have not seen before.

Our neighbors in the west are impressed with Sweden's development this year.

- The Swedes have impressed on both the women's and men's side, they seem to have worked well in recent years, says Johannes Thingnes Bö.

The Norwegian giant has had to fight hard against Sebastian Samuelsson and Martin Ponsiluoma this year, and it is also the duo that he is most impressed by.

Are you surprised by the development?

- They are much better than last year so it's a bit surprising, but if you look at them as practitioners and know what strengths they have, you know that when the shootings are over, they are life-threatening, says Johannes Thingnes Bö.

The shooting coach pays tribute to Sebastian

Norwegian shooting coach Seigfried Mazet has seen the potential in these teams for several years so that success comes now is no surprise.

He highlights the sisters Öberg and Martin Ponsiluoma who have impressed him, but it is still Sebastian Samuelsson that he sees the greatest potential in.

- I'm surprised that his lift did not come earlier, he has everything that will make him one of the best biathletes.

He is very good on the skis and he has a "killer mind" on the dike, says Seigfried Mazet.

Mazet believes that Sweden will take further steps next season.

He knows Jean-Marc Chabloz well and thinks that Sweden, led by Johannes Lukas, is building something big.

- Next year they will be even better, we who stand by feel that the team is growing all the time and they make us a little scared but not too much, says Seigfried Mazet with a twinkle in his eye.
