The Arab Gulf League .. Unity turns the scales of the fore

Unity turned the scales at the forefront, and awarded Bani Yas the top of the Gulf Arab Football League solo after defeating Al-Jazira with two unanswered goals at the end of the 22nd stage of the competition.

And that result came on a plate of gold for Baniyas, who performed what he had to do and beat Hatta with a goal without a response, raising his score to 48 points and one point ahead of Al Jazeera, who fell to second place.

Sharjah continued its decline in the level of results and returned from Al Wasl Stadium in a positive draw of 3/3 to lose two new points in its struggle to retain the league title, bringing the difference between him and Bani Yas to seven points.

Al-Ahly youth rose to fourth place after their victory outside Al-Diyar Al-Dhafra 2/1, taking advantage of Al-Nasr's fall in front of Fujairah with two unanswered goals, raising its score to 40 points, while Al-Dean retreated to fifth place with 39 points.

Al Ain returned to sixth place after its easy victory over Ajman with two goals without response, surpassing Al Wasl, who was the most affected in that round after the victory of Al-Zaeem and Al-Anabi, to drop to eighth place with 34 points.

The most notable change was in the conflict zone for survival, as that round served Fujairah, who won a deserved victory over Al-Nasr, and jumped to 12th place with 14 points, three points away from Ajman, who became in the 13th place and the last place by six points.

Ittihad Kalba moved away in ninth place after defeating Khorfakkan, 2-1, raising its score to 32, two points ahead of Al Wasl, who is in eighth place.

Al-Dhafra continued his negative results under the leadership of his Syrian coach, Muhammad Qawid, by receiving a new loss in the league, to freeze his score at 20 points in the 11th place.

Round 22 saw a decline in the goal tally, as only 19 goals were scored, bringing the total of the league's goals to 476 goals in the 154 matches that have taken place so far.
