“End of tournament for me…” It was with these words that Matthieu Jalibert announced his withdrawal for the “final” of the VI Nations Tournament against Scotland on Friday.

The French opening half came out on concussion on Saturday against Wales just before the half hour mark. Replaced by Romain Ntamack, usual holder of the post, Jalibert suffered "from a shock to the face and he left because "We preferred not to take any risk," assured the coach of the Blues Fabien Galthié.

The French are chasing their first trophy since 2010 and still have a chance to do so after pulling off an incredible turnaround in the dying minutes of Saturday's game.
