Last year, Takehiro Ishikawa, who decided to retire after becoming a free contract from professional baseball DeNA, held a press conference and said, "I can experience both strong and weak times, and the fans I met in 16 years are a great treasure." I looked back.

Ishikawa held a press conference at the baseball team office in Yokohama City on the 1st, and after becoming a free contract in November last year, he sought to continue his active career, but he said that he could not meet it. I wanted to finish it up, so I set a deadline of about a week before the opening, "he explained why he decided to retire at this time.

He recalled, "I can experience both strong and weak times, and the fans I met in 16 years are treasures. I've come to the best of my ability, so I'm more than grateful than regret."

Immediately after the retirement interview, director Daisuke Miura, who was a teammate, appeared as a surprise with a bouquet and showed a surprised expression, saying, "My memories with Miura have come back. There is something to come up with." It was.

On the other hand, Director Miura said, "I think he had various conflicts. I have a desire to wear uniforms and work with him again, but I want him to take a rest first."

Ishikawa is 34 years old.

In 2005, I joined Yokohama at that time in the 6th draft from Yokohama High School.

After that, when he became DeNA, he served as the first captain and achieved a total of 1000 hits.

The team plans to hold a retirement ceremony for Ishikawa in the future.
