After 30 years as a commentator on SVT, Björn Fagerlind today comments on his last competition.
Björn Fagerlind has commented on 24 out of 26 medals that Anja Pärsson and Pernilla Wiberg have won.
And when Pernilla Wiberg started commenting ten years ago, she found security in Fagerlind.
- If you said something wrong, he joked about it.
So it felt safe, says Wiberg.
"Everything has an end"
Fagerlind has known throughout the year that this will probably be the last.
"Everything has an end, my God," he says.
Wiberg believes that Björn Fagerlind belongs with Alpint and that you will miss his voice in the box.
Maria Pietilä Holmner believes that it has also been a security for her to hear Fagerlind comment, and that he and Wiberg usually deliver.
- There is a lot of laughter, and it is a little giggle is a wonderful ingredient.
I think it's cozy actually, says Pietilä Holmner.
