- I immediately felt that something was not right, says Rönning, who twisted his knee already during the warm-up and did not come into play in the training match, to Borås Tidning.

Elfsborg's team doctor Matilda Lundblad tells the newspaper that it is a suspected meniscus injury on the inside of the knee and that Rönning will be examined further on Monday.

- If it is an operation, you talk about two to three months of rehab afterwards until you are in full play again, a bit depending on what the injury looks like.

There is no point in guessing, but it is clear that it is a meniscus injury but not the extent of it, says Matilda Lundblad.

Another blow for Elfsborg was that midfielder Joseph Okumu was forced to step down with a concussion after colliding with Mikael Lustig at the end of the match.

- Now it is first brain rest that applies, says Matilda Lundblad to Borås Tidning, and talks about a recovery time of at least ten days.

- It is difficult to give a forecast, but we will keep an eye on him.

AIK won the match 2-0.
