Ruler of Sharjah orders the allocation of a building for marine sports in Al Hamriya Club

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, issued a royal order to allocate a building for marine sports in the Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, in a new honor for sports in the emirate and the interest in sports and athletes.

Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Issa Hilal Al-Hazami, said in a press statement: “This gift is a precious gift from His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and a great joy for the athletes in the region.

The council works on all the necessary arrangements, as this donation prompts us to provide more attention, and to ensure the elevation of sport in the emirate in general, and at the level of marine sports in particular.

He added: “The marine sports building in Hamriya is a new addition to marine sports in the emirate, after the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, which confirms the importance of sport in Sharjah and the distinctive qualifications of its clubs in light of the availability of infrastructure and capabilities from various aspects, which prompts more work to translate This interest in advancing the level of championships and achievements that reinforce these efforts exerted.

He pointed out that “a plot of land will be allocated to the building, and work is underway between the Department of Public Works, the Hamriyah Club and the Sharjah Maritime Club regarding the construction of the building, which gives the way for the Hamriyah area to be a global sporting interface for water sports, and this will constitute a motivation for meeting this sponsorship with more work, and strive to Achieving achievements in the name of the emirate and the state, and expanding the base of practitioners of these sports ».
