Villa Lidköping is in the middle of the semi-final series against Sandviken and now comes the news that two players have tested positive for covid-19.

In addition, a leader has shown symptoms.

The leader was isolated and tested on Tuesday and they are now waiting for test results.

- There are no others who show symptoms right now, says Villa Lidköping's club director Jonas Johansson to SVT Sport.

But at the moment, they will not test anyone else in the squad.

- Bandy has not worked in the way that you work with quick tests.

If someone shows symptoms, we isolate it immediately and book a test period, says Johansson.

"An exposed situation"

In bandy, the rules are tough.

There is no room to postpone matches before the Swedish Championship final on March 27, so Villa will play tomorrow's semi-final at home against Sandviken.

- We have no alternative.

It is arranged so that there is no possibility to move.

Should we have a major outbreak, it is a walk over that applies if we do not choose to move up the juniors and play with a junior team.

But picking up junior players is extra difficult right now.

- Then we have a bit of a hard time because the juniors have not been able to train and play for large parts of the season.

They are not really where you need to be.

It's tough, a vulnerable situation, says the club director.
