Paris Saint-Germain, which faces Lille in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France at the end of the day on Wednesday, received the strong support of the Ultras Paris Collective.

The supporters, weaned from the stadium for a year now, were keen to support a team going through a difficult pass, taking advantage of a match stalled early enough to be able to respect the curfew.

It was one of the only possible windows in this health period so complex for the supporters.

The Ultra Paris Collective met not far from Porte d'Auteuil in Paris on Wednesday to welcome the coach of Paris Saint-Germain players, who face Lille at the end of the day.

Smoke, banners, songs and fireworks, they were between 300 and 400 to support their team in a joyful, smooth atmosphere, all supervised by the security service of the club of the capital.

"We play a little with the schedule of the match, there is no curfew, all these rules around the Covid, so we take advantage", explains at the microphone Europe 1 "Bobo", president of the collective ultra Paris and usually very discreet in the media.

"It brings the collective together, that people see each other. And then it's important to boost them."

"Football, our passion, we live it in front of the TV"

It must be said that the Parisian supporters have been eating their black bread for a year.

The last match at the Parc des Princes in public, with a normal gauge, dates back to February 2020, against Dijon.

"It's hard, our passion we live in front of the TV or on small actions like these, it's complicated", laments the boss of the collective ultra Paris.

But the people are still there, they have the passion and the desire to push the club. "

An equally important operation to support a group which is going through some turbulence on the ground (the defeat against Nantes in Ligue 1) and outside (the burglaries of the house of Angel di Maria and the father of Captain Marquinhos).

"We want to show them that Nantes is a mistake. There are 9 matches left, we must continue to support them. There [against Lille] it's the Cup, it's an important match. And if it wins , we want to show them that we can give them the same treatment in the future. "

Moreover, inside the Parc des Princes, the CUP hung two banners, in support of Di Maria and Marquinhos, but also to Sergio Rico who has just lost his father.
